Villa Casa Colina - The Villa, Garden and Pool |
||||
The situation of the villaThe villa is in an elevated position above the private pool, which is available only to residents of the community and their guests. It overlooks two holes of La Marquesa golf course, and across the valley to the villas on the other side. There are also distant views of the Crevillente Mountains.The poolThe pool is large, has a separate shallow section for children, showers and extensive sunbathing areas, equipped with sun beds for your use. You will have direct access from the villa to the pool area, (beware other rental properties where you have to walk along the road to get to the pool!) but access by other residents is via a locked gate, to which only they and their guests have a key. The villa is not in a holiday complex but in a residential community and so the pool is never crowded.Living roomThe living room has two comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs, ceiling fan, air conditioning, and there is also heating if required occasionally in the winter evenings. It is equipped with a 32" flat-screen TV with English channels, ipod dock, DVD/CD player and a small selection of CD's and DVD's. The living room opens onto the terrace, which has a table and chairs, ideal for alfresco dining, or for just relaxing with a glass of wine. (One of the photos shows the view of the pool, community garden and beyond, taken from the terrace). We ask you to respect the fact that the villa is strictly no-smoking indoors.BedroomsThe villa has two comfortably furnished bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with ceiling fans, large fitted wardrobes, a hairdryer and plenty of hangers. A safe is available free-of-charge for the use of guests. Good quality bed linen and towels are provided, but you will need to bring your own towels for the pool or beach please.For a child requiring a cot, hire of this and any other baby equipment you may require can be arranged at very reasonable prices. We make no extra rental charge for an additional child in a cot. The sofas do not convert into beds and so the normal maximum occupancy is 4 but we do have a folding bed (190 x 78) and, by arrangement, can accept an additional child at a small extra cost. Bathroom and kitchenThe bathroom is fully tiled and has a full-size bath, high-pressure shower, washbasin, bidet and w.c.The kitchen is separate from the sitting room and is equipped with granite work surfaces, a four-ring halogen hob, fridge-freezer, combination microwave oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, electric juicer, iron and ironing board. OutsideSteps lead down from the terrace to the rear garden, where we provide two sun-beds for your use. Whether you prefer to eat in the sun or the shade, with a second patio set in the front garden you can find somewhere to suit you at any time of day. Your hire car can be parked on the driveway.Access to the villa and to the pool involves steps and is therefore, unfortunately, not wheelchair-friendly. Please note also that the area around the villa is hilly. |
