From May to October rentals normally start on a Saturday but we accept mid-week bookings outside this period .

Is there a separate charge for cleaning and laundry?

Yes,  there is a charge of 40 Euros for end of stay cleaning and laundry.  This is not included in the rental rate above as it is payable direct to our housekeeper on arrival at the villa.  A mid-stay change of linen and towels is 15 Euros.

How do I make an enquiry or a booking?

Please check the availability calendar, then complete the form on the "Enquiries" page, click the "Submit" button and we will email a full reply.

When do I pay?

Once you have confirmed that you would like to book, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking. - Payment instructions will be sent following receipt of your booking request.

The balance is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, together with the security deposit of £100 or 150 Euros which will be refunded within one week of your return, subject to return of keys and there being no damage, excess cleaning or unacceptably high usage of electricity reported by our manager.

How do I pay?

We accept payment by cheque or bank transfer, and are also able to accept payment by credit card via PayPal's secure system but will have to pass on the commission we are charged, which we trust you will agree is not unreasonable. You do not need a PayPal account in order to use this system and we will send details on request.

Will I receive directions?

Detailed directions from the airport will be sent on receipt of your final payment.  

What are the arrival and departure times?

The normal time for availability of the villa is 15.00 on the day of arrival and you would need to vacate by 11.00 on the day of departure. This is, of course, in order to allow time for the villa to be thoroughly cleaned and the linen and towels changed, but flexibility may be possible depending on the timings of the rentals preceding and following yours.

Are there any other additional charges?

Rental rates include normal reasonable usage of the air-conditioning. For a child using the additional folding bed we make a nominal charge of £25 per week plus 5 Euros for laundry.

Are there any rules?

To date we have been lucky that our guests have all respected that this is our home in the sun and have treated the villa with respect and it has not therefore proved necessary to make many rules.  The villa is in a quiet neighbourhood and we ask you to have consideration for our neighbours regarding noise levels.  Please do not to take the bath towels to the pool or beach so you need to bring these with you (or buy cheaply on the market if you are travelling with carry-on luggage only). No pets are allowed and we must also ask that you please respect our villa and that we have a strictly no smoking policy indoors.

What is the security deposit?

We feel apologetic about asking for this security deposit but it is common practice, and the only protection we have against other owners' experiences of mis-treatment of their properties, or air-conditioning being left on all day when the villa is empty. To date we have always been able to refund this deposit in full, and we trust that this will continue to be the case.  Small breakages can't be helped and we make no deduction for these but would be grateful if you would tell our managers so the item can be replaced and not inconvenience subsequent guests.

Cancellation

In six years of renting our villa we are pleased to say this has never arisen but, in common with any type of holiday booking, we would have to charge for cancellations as this represents lost income for us. We recommend that you take out travel insurance when you book, and would expect that cancellation for valid reasons would be covered by your policy. Charges are: 4 - 8 weeks prior to arrival : 50% of total rental 2 - 4 weeks prior to arrival : 75% of total rental Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival : 100% of total rental. In the unlikely event we have to cancel your booking, our liability is limited to the refund of any amounts paid to us.

Other notes

Parties arriving with more than the number of guests booked will be asked to leave. No all male/female groups under 25.
All information on this website is provided in good faith and is accurate to the best of our knowledge and belief. We make every effort to ensure that you have an excellent holiday experience but cannot be liable if your enjoyment is affected by factors outside our control.
We reserve the right to amend the above rates at any time but bookings already made will not be affected.
