Cleaning and laundry charge First week - For parties of one or two the charge is 35 Euros per week, and for three or four it is 50 Euros to reflect the additional laundry involved. For two-week stays the linen and towels will be changed mid-way and the villa will be cleaned at the same inclusive price as above or, alternatively, you can choose to undertake to keep the villa clean yourselves and, for the second week, pay only a reduced laundry charge. The cleaning and laundry charge for your stay is payable on arrival at the villa. Notes to rental rates We reserve the right to amend the above rates at any time but bookings already made will not be affected. From May to September rentals start on a Saturday but flexibility is normally possible outside this period. We offer a "meet and greet" service, and our neighbours, John & Ann, will meet you at the villa, show you where everything is and give you the keys. Rental rates include normal reasonable usage of the air-conditioning. For a child using the additional folding bed we make a nominal charge of £25 per week plus 7.50 Euros for laundry. Our English neighbours will be pleased to tell you anything you need to know about the surrounding area as they are lucky enough to live there permanently. They also manage the villa for us and will not be intrusive, but can be contacted should you have any problems during your stay. Probably the only things you need to bring are your own towels for the pool or beach. No pets are allowed and we must also ask that you please respect our villa and that we have a strictly no smoking policy indoors. The normal time for availability of the villa is 3.00pm on the day of arrival and you would need to vacate by 12.00 noon on the day of departure. This is, of course, in order to allow time for the villa to be thoroughly cleaned and the linen and towels changed, but flexibility may be possible depending on the timings of the rentals preceding and following yours. Although you need to be aware of these times before you book your flights there are many ways of spending an enjoyable hour or two locally should you arrive or leave outside these times. Some villa owners make an extra charge for guests arriving on late night flights. We do not do this, but instead ask you to have consideration for John and Ann when choosing your flight times, and to allow sufficient time to collect your luggage, complete the paperwork for your hire car, drive to the villa, and still arrive at a reasonable hour. Booking An initial non-refundable deposit of £100 will secure your booking - payment instructions will be sent following receipt of your booking request (See the "Contact Us" page). The balance is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday, together with a security deposit of £100 which will be refunded within one week of your return, subject to return of keys and there being no damage, excess cleaning or unacceptably high usage of electricity reported by our manager. We feel apologetic about asking for this security deposit but it is common practice, and the only protection we have against other owners' experiences of mis-treatment of their properties, or air-conditioning being left on all day when the villa is empty. To date we have always been able to refund this deposit in full, and we trust that this will continue to be the case. We are able to accept payment by credit card but will have to pass on the commission we are charged, which we trust you will agree is not unreasonable. Cancellation charges: In common with any type of holiday booking we have to charge for cancellations as this represents lost income for us. We recommend that you take out travel insurance when you book, and would expect that cancellation for valid reasons would be covered by your policy. Charges are: 4 - 8 weeks prior to arrival - 50% of total rental 2 - 4 weeks prior to arrival - 75% of total rental Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival - 100% of total rental. Parties arriving with more than the number of guests booked will be asked to leave. All information on this website is provided in good faith and is accurate to the best of our knowledge and belief. We make every effort to ensure that you have an excellent holiday experience but cannot be liable if your enjoyment is affected by factors outside our control. In the unlikely event we have to cancel your booking, our liability is limited to the refund of any amounts paid to us.
